How to Be Saved (Part 1) nextThe Plan of Salvation Summarized from the Scriptures The plan of salvation is God’s way of redeeming humanity from sin and its devastating consequences. The plan reveals how Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world as a human being, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was resurrected from the dead. Consequently, our sins can be forgiven and we can receive eternal life. We must however, repent of our sins, put our trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross, and receive Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Savior. The following passages of Scripture summarize this glorious plan of salvation.
God loves all of us! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him But we are all sinners! For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And sin has a penalty! For the wages of sin is death. Christ has paid our penalty! But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Salvation is a gift from God! For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; Christ is knocking at the door of our hearts! Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, We must receive Him by faith into our hearts! But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
